Moving from HK to Canada, I thought 'perfection' was the only way to win (having asian parents didn't help lol). I spent two years checking boxes while my personality stayed invisible. My biggest hurdle? Realizing Rotman didn't want a robot, they wanted...Rodi. I’ll never forget crashing out over my UBC app because I didn't know who I actually was outside of a resume.
